The Delmason Forest is a long 40 acre parcel that runs North and South along Delmason Road from the Alden Highway. The County received the parcel from the State of Michigan in 1952 under Michgian's Natural Resources Environmental Protection Act, PA 451. The parcel is used for the production of forest products, forestry education, wildlife habitat and open space.
From Mancelona travel west 5 miles on M-88 to Delmason Road. Travel South on Delmason Road 1.5 miles. Located in the E 1/2, E1/2, SE 1/4, Section 16, Custer Township.
