Antrim Promise: Economic Recovery

shieldwebsiteThe Antrim Promise is recommending safeguarding protocols for all businesses, including those that are re-opening and those essential businesses that have remained open during the stay at home order. These safeguarding protocols are based on the recommendations of the CDC, OSHA and other leading authorities. To support the Antrim Promise, all employers and employees should take steps to reopen safely, help other industries be able to open more quickly, and help Antrim County remain healthy and open for business.

Teaming up with the Antrim County Economic Development Corporation, local Downtown Development Authorities, as well as area chambers of commerce, the EOC will be providing the plan to all Antrim County businesses.

To help guide businesses through recovery, the Antrim County Emergency Operations Center, in conjunction with the Economic Development Corporation, has developed a Business Recovery Packet. The packet includes:

  • A template businesses can use to develop a Preparedness and Response Plan
  • Strategies for reopening or keeping your business open
  • The Economic Recovery Section of the Antrim Promise Recovery Plan
  • Other resources

The EOC is offering Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) readiness packs, which will include hand-sanitizer, gloves, cloth face masks (enough to outfit each employee with two masks), and KN95 masks (for qualified businesses). Additional individualized needs can be requested and will be fulfilled according to availability. To request PPE Readiness Packs, email emergencymanagement@antrimcounty.org or call (231)533-6569.
