Janet Person apprised the Committee on the need to implement immediately some stormwater and erosion control works at the end of the new parking area at Wetzel Lake. Janet distributed a cost estimate and a sketch of the proposed drainage facilities. Work will also include an explanatory sign for the park. Janet noted that development of the parking area has resulted in runoff that created a gulley in the beach area. To prevent further enlargement of the gulley, a subsurface drainage system is being proposed. |
