1.         Meeting called to order at 10:00 a.m.
2.         Grass River Natural Area (GRNA)
	Mark Randolph, Director of the GRNA, gave the Committee an update on activities at the GRNA (railroad issue and land protection issue). Mr. Randolph presented the GRNA revenue and expenditure budget request. Motion by Bob McLeod, supported by Joe Allen, to approve the Grass River Natural Area budget request, as amended, for submittal to the Finance Committee.  Motion carried – unanimous.
3.         Parks
	Eileen Wallick, Parks Manager, updated the Committee regarding the activities at Barnes Park and Elk Rapids Day Park (attached). Motion by Bob McLeod, supported by Joe Allen, to discontinue use of the depreciation budget developed by a former Parks and Recreation Commission member.  Motion carried – unanimous. Ms. Wallick submitted the budget request for Barnes Park and Elk Rapids Day Park. Motion by Joe Allen, supported by Bob McLeod, to approve the Barnes Park budget, as amended, for submittal to the Finance Committee.  Motion carried – unanimous. Motion by Joe Allen, supported by Bob McLeod, to approve the Elk Rapids Day Park budget for submittal to the Finance Committee.  Motion carried – unanimous.
4.         Antrim Creek Natural Area
	Motion by Mike Crawford, supported by Bob McLeod, to approve the Antrim Creek Natural Area Budget for submittal to the Finance Committee.  Motion carried – unanimous.
5.         Parks Commission
	Motion by Bob McLeod, supported by Joe Allen, to approve the Parks Commission budget for submittal to the Finance Committee.  Motion carried – unanimous. The Committee reviewed a communication (attached) from the Parks and Recreation Commission on feedback from the most recent Parks Forum on shooting sports and shooting ranges.
6.         Cedar River Natural Area
	Motion by Bob McLeod, supported by Joe Allen, to approve the Cedar River Natural Area budget request for submittal to the Finance Committee.  Motion carried – unanimous.
7.         Park Fundraiser Fund
	Motion by Bob McLeod, supported by Joe Allen, to approve the Park Fundraiser Fund as submitted for submittal to the Finance Committee.  Motion carried – unanimous.
8.         Public Access Book Fund
	Motion by Bob McLeod, supported by Joe Allen, to approve the Public Access Book Fund as submitted for submittal to the Finance Committee.  Motion carried – unanimous.
9.         Wetzel Lake
	Motion by Bob McLeod, supported by Joe Allen, to approve the Wetzel Lake budget request as amended for submittal to the Finance Committee.  Motion carried – unanimous.
10.       Barnes Park Grant
	Motion by Joe Allen, supported by Bob McLeod, to approve the Barnes Park Grant Fund as submitted for submittal to the Finance Committee.  Motion carried – unanimous.
