Respondents' Comments to Question 57 |
| 1. | NEVER! | | 2. | Would not encourage any considerable growth commercially or in population density due to the fact that it would eventually lead to a gradual sprawl into the surrounding natural pristine areas which we now enjoy. The village experiences serious congestion during the summer months from the thousands of summer residents and tourists who converge on our streets which makes it difficult to carry on normal business and patronizing. This is not implying that I'm against catering to tourists and short term residents for it does give our economy quite a boost BUT it has to remain manageable and controlled due to our street system can't handle the increasing volumes as it is. | | 3. | I don't want any of the ER areas to become OVER populated. I love the country appearance of the rural areas as much as I do the in-town charming areas. |
