.Super Tool Bldg
.North Area with Green Belt, also pines (need more) great. KEEP NATURAL area on West side. Rotary sign, picnic area greatly improved.
.The US 31 Corridor south of ER COULD be both better-looking and more in keeping with the "village" concept. Remove all industrial buildings and foster "downtown-like" structures, giving the appearance of an 1800s village. No 3-storey buildings and no industrial.
.No change
.Bldgs are empty and unkempt.
.Clean up SuperTool!
.Stop "Jake Breaks" coming down hill into town!
.OK as is, traffic no problem now.
.Not much change
.Added park, places for tourists to stop, rest and view Elk River & Elk Rapids. Signs letting drivers be aware of a place to stop and relax.
.Burnette Foods is an important local employer and is representative of our local character and economy. BUT, vegetative screening along US-31 would be nice.
.About same.
.Something should be done about the vacant large building on US31South of River St. Its an eye sore.
.US31 from Ames to C of C office needs a beautification project (E side of US31 opposite River St): trees, gardens, etc… volunteers (maybe feature area landscapers?)
.I would like to see the old Super Tool and Morrison Canning Factory torn down and replaced by small commercial businesses. These are sore sights when driving along 31.
.Clean up old abandoned building near AMVETS! This is a big eyesore.
.US31 between Alden Lumber and River St. is also a basic eye-sore, save the Chamber area. Old abandoned buildings should be upgraded or torn down.
