| 1. | Shrubbery at many intersections block views of Oncoming traffic |
| 2. | Stop signs on all corners in the villages. |
| 3. | Traffic concern (very concerned): N. Bayshore and Dexter |
| 4. | No traffic control solutions are needed! |
| 5. | Pine and River St U-turns are a hazard to pedestrians. Many each hour of the day. Am surprised the police have not noticed. |
| 6. | People don't understand that they should stop behind white line at Ames & 31. |
| 7. | Traffic lights: at US31 & Elk Lake Rd, at US 31 & First, at Ames & Rivershore |
| 8. | Stop light at Elk Lake Rd and US 31 |
| 9. | Need to study a four-way stop at Cedar and River streets |
| 10. | The corner of Third St and Park is a traffic problem during school events and when school starts/lets out. Need a traffic flow pattern with signage directing vehicles out of residential areas. |
| 11. | I would like to see a four-way stop at the intersection of Pine and First streets. |
| 12. | Police the people who pass on the right at US31 & 4th St. |
| 13. | Why don't we leave this up to the proper authorities - MDOT and the Michigan State Police. I'd rather suffer heavy traffic for (4) summer months than suffer traffic control measures for the (8) off-season months. If safety is the issue, why are the cops using the old railroad grade through the wetlands to access US-31? Let's start fixing safety problems there. |
| 14. | The corner at 4th and US31 is very dangerous. Much more so than US31 & Elk Lake Rd. Need a light. |
| 15. | People do not abide by the stop signs. Also at 4th St. & 31 -- traffic goes around cars instead of stopping for those cars turning into Millers Park area. |
| 16. | How about speed bumps across the roads near schools and Ames St./Village Market area to slow ALL traffic down? Posted speeds are not being observed. |
| 17. | I would like to see more police patrols in the downtown area. Cars speeding on River Street after dark and the early morning hours are really bad. |
| 18. | Could some of the LOW traffic areas such as River Shore Dr. at E. 3rd St. have yield signs replace stop signs. On the east side of the village it seems like there are several stop signs for stop sign sake only. |
| 19. | We need better traffic flow and control at Dexter, Ames, and US31. Left turn from Ames onto 31 is inadequate and the lanes are wide enough. Needs left turn, straight, and right lane just as the 3 other corners have. Pedestrian walk/no walk indicator would be nice at this intersection. |
