Minutes
Members Present:		Gene Dawson, Brad Kik, Jill Barnard, Bill Gadwau, Leonard Klein, and Bob Peterson
Members Absent:		Mike McPherson and Jim Palmer
Staff Present:		Joe Meyers
Others Present:		None
I.          Call to Order
	Bob Peterson called the meeting to order at 3:05 p.m.
II.        Public Comment
	None.
III.       Approval of Minutes
	Motion by Gene Dawson, supported by Bill Gadwau, to approve the minutes from the August 23, 2007 meeting as written.  Motion carried – unanimous.
IV.       Recycling
	Discussion ensued over the recycling program and the different options.  Discussion ensued over the Council and the role they play. Motion by Jill Barnard, to ask the commissioners to add a trash component to the recycling program.  Motion withdrawn. Discussion ensued over the County and the difficulties they face in regards to a recycling program with the differences in each individual township. The Committee would like Joe to come back to the Committee next meeting with the options on the different county programs regarding trash and recycling.
