Members Present:		Al Martel, Joe Meyers, Heidi Lang, Jim Gurr, John Peal, Barb Bradford, Mark Stone and Charlie Koop
Members Absent:		Steve Drenth, Stan Moore and Pepper Bromelmeier
Public Present:		None
	Al Martel called the meeting to order at 7:05 p.m.
	Joe Meyers indicated that due to an error, this meeting was not published in the newspaper.  The Committee determined that due to the error we should not speak on the ordinance and just speak on general issues. Heidi Lang and Mr. Meyers passed out copies of Branch County’s Storm Water Ordinance because it is a recent ordinance that was approved by the state. The Committee discussed the Attorney Generals letter to Grand Traverse County and how this affects the ordinance. John Peal questioned on what is “broke” with only practicing state law and the need for an ordinance that deals with storm water.  Jim Gurr also questioned the need for an ordinance.  Heidi Lang and Barb Bradford spoke on the need for an ordinance that covers storm water. Mr. Peal indicated that he was not against an ordinance just this ordinance.
Meeting adjourned at 8:15 p.m.
The next meeting will be at the Antrim County Board of Commissioners Room on Wednesday, July 25, 2006 at 7:00 p.m.
