	1.        Meeting called to order at 2:00 p.m.
2.        Public Comment
None.
3.        Elk Rapids Hydro Facility
Mark Stone, Drain Commissioner, joined the meeting.  Mr. Stone updated the Committee on how the new hydro operators have changed the way the facility is being operated.
Jack White indicated the check from ERHP has been received ($195,000).
Bellaire Dam
Mr. Stone indicated he is going to be looking for someone to do maintenance on the Bellaire Dam.
Mr. Stone indicated that he thought the County should purchase a small generator to operate the gates at the Bellaire Dam in case the power goes out.  The Committee agreed it would be a good purchase.
4.        Building Department Update
Bob Massey, Building Official, provided a written and verbal monthly report on the Building Department.
Part of the Building Department report was the status of the SK and J lists.  The SK and J lists were made up of past inspections and open permits in the Building Department files that the State mandated the County either re-inspect, or complete a final inspection, and close.  The State, long ago, dropped the requirement for the County to keep track of these lists.  It was the consensus of the Committee that it would be acceptable for Mr. Massey to discontinue tracking the SK and J lists.
Motion by Gene Dawson, supported by Larry Bargy, to recommend the Board of Commissioners approve the amendment to the Building Department Vehicle Policy (addition of numbers 4 and 5).  Motion carried – unanimous.
The Committee went into closed session on the request of Mr. Massey for personnel issues.
Closed session began at 2:45.
Closed session ended at 3:15 p.m.
The meeting was adjourned at 3:20 p.m.
