I. Call to Order |

Don Schuiteman called the meeting to order at 1:20 p.m. DUE TO A LACK OF A QUORUM NO OFFICAL ACTION COULD BE TAKEN. |

II. Public/Member Comment |

|
Bob Spencer spoke on the reason the Board was checking on the validity of a deed at the Torch Bay Nature Preserve. |

III. Approval of the September 25, 2007 Minutes |

IV. Boat Launch |
|||
|
|
Tom Pearson spoke on the Torch Bay Nature Preserve Authority. Discussion ensued over the boat launch at the Preserve and the plan for development of the area. Discussion ensued over the removal of Aften stone from the boat launch. Bob Spencer spoke on how some, not all, of his constituents are asking for a gas dock between Charlevoix and Elk Rapids.
Discussion ensued over the Lore Rd. Extension and the different complications the site contained. |

V. Various Matters |

Joe Spoke on the Wetzel Lake site and how the lease is just awaiting the signature of the DNR.
Mike spoke on the trail book that the district is planning to put together and also indicated that the Barnes Park Trail project should be fully complete by next spring.
Discussion ensued over the picnic tables at Wetzel Lake. |
