I. Call to Order |

Don Schuiteman called the meeting to order at 1:03 p.m. |

III. Approval of the April 19, 2007 Minutes |

|
|
Motion by Jerome Dobrzelewski, supported by Russ Blasdell, to approve the April 19, 2007 minutes as presented. Motion carried – unanimous |

IV. Petoskey Stone Festival |
|||
|
|
Linda Gallagher indicated that we need volunteers for the festival and also indicated that Dave Barrens from 9 and 10 News will be in attendance. Discussion ensued over the fish pond and the volunteers needed to operate it.
Don Schuiteman indicated that Rotary would like to do a 50/50 raffle at the festival. The Committee decided that it was fine as long as they acquired all necessary licenses. |

V. Various Matters |

|
Discussion ensued over the Wetzel Lake lease. The Committee indicated that they were not happy with the lease and felt like they should contact their Michigan Congressmen.
Discussion ensued over the Sevald property as well as the Batchelder Rd. and Frog Hollow proprieties.
Mike Meriwether spoke on the Lore Rd extension for a boat launch. Mike was directed to contact Gene Dawson, the Parks Committee chair.
The Committee decided to change their meeting to the 4th Tuesday at 1:00 p.m.
Mike Meriwether informed the Committee that the trails at Barnes Park were chipped and the prairie was planted. |
