1.         Meeting called to order at 9:02 a.m.
2.         Public Comment
	None.
3.         Grass River Natural Area (GRNA)
	Mark Randolph updated the Committee on events regarding Grass River Natural Area. Mark spoke on the GRNA Ordinance and how it needs to be re-written due to gains in property in recent years. Motion by Joe Allen, supported by Mike Crawford, to direct Legal Counsel to review the ordinance after the Parks Committee reviews the content.  Motion carried – unanimous. Discussion ensued over GRNA.
4.         Barnes Park
	Eileen Wallick gave her report on events at Barnes Park. Eileen also handed out her financial report.  Discussion ensued over the report and the different revenue generating items within it. Discussion ensued over the pavilion at Elk Rapids and the Committee indicated where they are at in looking into replacing it.
5.         Elk Rapids Dam Parking Lot
	Bob Peterson spoke on the Elk Rapids Dam Parking Lot and how the DDA is looking into potentially paving the lot; and was wondering if the county would help with some of the cost. Discussion ensued over the Dam Reserve Fund as a potential place to get the funds. Discussion ensued over the Bech’s Mustard facility in downtown Elk Rapids.

	Discussion ensued over the potential County recycling system.
