Members present:		Gene Dawson, Mike Crawford, and Joe Allen
Members absent:		None.
Staff present:		Joe Meyers, Eileen Wallick, and Jack White
Others present:		Mark Randolph and Mike Meriwether
1.         Meeting called to order at 9:05 a.m.
2.         Public Comment
	None.
3.         County Land Purchases
	Mike Meriwether indicated that he is looking to connect current landlocked parcels and is asking them to support what the County Lands, Agriculture, and Forestry Committee is asking the Finance Committee for.  Discussion ensued over the parcels and the need to unlock the parcels in the County. Motion by Joe Allen, supported by Mike Crawford to support County Lands, Agriculture and Forestry Committee’s motion for purchasing parcels to unlock three parcels throughout the County. Motion carried – unanimous. Discussion ensued regarding Sevald Property and the conservancy.
4.         Grass River Natural Area (GRNA)
	Mark Randolph updated the Committee on events regarding Grass River Natural Area.
5.         Barnes Park
	Eileen Wallick gave her report on events at Barnes Park. Eileen also handed out her financial report.  Discussion ensued over the 5-kilometer race; the Barnes Park budget; picnic tables; and an owl in the park.  Eileen also spoke on an ATV that had been riding throughout the park.  She indicated that she had an issue with the Sheriffs Department on enforcement.  Mike Crawford spoke on the Petoskey Stone Festival and indicated that he thought that we could get the tribe involved with it.  Mike asked that Eileen get information to the right people.
