3. Grass River Natural Area (GRNA) |
|||||
|
|
Mark Randolph discussed activities regarding GRNA.
Mark also indicated that there are problems with acquiring the Maltby property. |

4. Barnes Park Update |
|||||
|
|
Eileen Wallick, Park Manager, gave an update on events regarding Barnes Park.
Eileen spoke on the two incidents where someone tried to break in to the new building. Eileen indicated that she has installed new deadbolts for three doors.
Eileen spoke on the 2003 bathhouse and the need for a plumber to look at the hot water lines at the park because she is getting complaints.
The Committee directed her to have a plumber look at the hot water lines at Barnes Park. |

5. Petoskey Stone Festival |

Joe Meyers informed the Committee of the success of the festival and indicated that the fund should be in the black after all of the bills are paid. |

6. Wetzel Lake |
|||||
|
|
Joe explained the problems with the Wetzel Lake lease. Joe indicated that they are not allowing camping on the site at this time. The Committee indicated that we should proceed with the lease to get one secured. |
