1. Meeting was called to order at 9:00 a.m.

3. Probate and Family Court |
|
Bill Hefferan, Court Administrator joined the meeting. Mr. Hefferan distributed and reviewed with the Committee, the year end Child Care Fund report for the fiscal year 2006-2007. The Committee and Mr. Hefferan discussed the Child Support Enforcement dollar cuts and the privatization of foster care proposed by the legislature. |

4. Meadow Brook Medical Care Facility (MBMCF) & Meadowview Apartments |
|
Marna Robertson, Director and David Schultz, Finance Officer joined the meeting. Ms. Robertson and Mr. Schultz presented and reviewed a report / agenda for the medical care facility. |

The Committee also reviewed the monthly and year
to date budget for Meadowview |
|
|
|
5. Commission on Aging (COA) |
|
Carol Mitchell, Director of the COA joined the
meeting. Ms. Mitchell requested the |
|
|
|
Motion by Bernie Blackmore, Supported by Laura Stanek to recommend the Board of Commissioners approve the Commission on Aging submit an application to the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians for serving meals to the Native American population in Antrim County ($2,500). Motion Carried – Unanimous. |
