9. Vehicle Ice Damage |
Mr. Garwood explained that over the Christmas holidays an employee from Community Mental Health (CMH) alleges to have experienced ice damage on the hood of her vehicle from ice that fell off the File Storage Building. We instructed her to fill out a report for our insurance company. We have been contacted by our insurance company asking for direction on the matter. The facts are; it allegedly happened on December 23, 2005, a police report was never filed, there were no witnesses, and a claim or accident report was not filed until January 10, 2006. The County’s insurance company recommends initial denial. They will then discuss it with the individual’s insurance company if it goes further. The Committee agreed with this plan of action. |
