Day to day activities at the County Administrator Office / Planning Department are divided into the Administration and Planner functions. (Staff directory)
Administration functions include management and administration for the Board of Commissioners, personnel administration, public relations, and department head and outside liaison for Board of Commissioners.
Planner functions include grant administration, county master plan development and updates, economic and agricultural development, model ordinance development, township master plan and zoning ordinance reviews, solid waste and recreation planning.
We also serve as technical support for various county departments and related local government bodies, and provide logistical support to the following county standing committees and boards:
