Welcome to the Administration & Planning Department!

Day to day activities at the County Administrator Office / Planning Department are divided into the Administration and Planner functions. (Staff directory.)

Administration functions include management and administration for the Board of Commissioners, personnel administration, public relations, and department head and outside liaison for Board of Commissioners.

Planner functions include grant administration, county master plan development and updates, economic and agricultural development, model ordinance development, township master plan and zoning ordinance reviews, solid waste and recreation planning.

We also serve as logistical support to the following county standing committees and boards:
     Administration and County Services Committee
     Buildings, Lands & Infrastructure
     Finance, Ways, and Means Committee
     Health and Public Safety Committee
     Antrim Creek Natural Area Commission
     Brownfield Redevelopment Authority
     Economic Development Corporation
     Planning Commission
     Parks and Recreation Advisory Board
     Solid Waste and Recycling Council
